During the tutorial, I showed the some initial textbook design concept and some ideas for the individual project.

Those are some trial for textbook competition by CDAK.

Those are some ideas for my individual project. I might stick with the lonely death issue.

1. Lonely death

Factors of lonely death:

Poverty, chronic illness, mental-alcohol problem, social disconnection, unemployment, single household, urban living

Lonely death of young

Factors of lonely death:

Unemployment, social/economic problems, poverty

Why hard to detect people endanger of lonely death?

-Not seek help from outside (Family/social service/neighbour)

- Social service is not very helpful

Efforts to decrese lonely death

• LED lamp that can detect motion

• Neighbouring check up

2. Language shares feeling

How to share feelings with language?

• State your feelings

• Develop emotional vocab

Things to consider

• Emotional expression differs by culture/age

• Nonverbal way(writing) makes hard to detect emotion

Possible method?

• Using universal language:

Facial expressions/ body language/ symbols

Emoji

• Considered as crucial part in online communication
