Infographic tutorial 2

Today, I shared more specific information and the target. I focused on gender conflict which is hatred expression happening on online among teenagers. I chose teenagers because they are at the age of setting standards of right or wrong and they spend a lot of time on social media.

I used the survey from National human rights commission of Korea to support my topic. It showed how teenagers think about gender hatred expressions with use of other hate expressions also.

I used the exhibition, "The world we made," and the short film, "Throwing hatred," as the part of my inspiration. It talks about hatred and discrimination. Especially, the short film uses crumpled papers written with swears and hatred expressions as the icon of how people easily throw hatred words to each other.

I did some of simple sketches about how my infographic will look like. I used some symbols such as popular hatred words used, uniforms, a louder speaker, and faces to relate the topic and visual. I also did a rough sketch using bombs because the media uses bombs to represent hate speech.

I will develop more on visual parts because it was too direct on information so I will focus more on visual part so the information is not too obvious.
