Part B Ideas 4

For the gender hate expression project, I thought of expressing the feelings and the hatred.

The first idea I came up with is throwing objects to pop the balloons. There will be hanged balloons on the ceiling. And the huge illustration of the certain gender under the hanged balloons. Each object will represent different reasons of using the gender hate expression. People can throw the object and pop the balloons. When people pop all balloons, it will show different feelings of illustration on certain gender to make them feel guilty about doing it.

The second idea is Responsive mailbox. There are other ways to say genders. Which is pronouns.(She/he/they). There will be three mailboxes. Each mailbox represents each pronoun. People can write their hatred towards certain gender and put it in the the certain mailbox. After a moment, the mailbox will give the response with sticker(stamp) that says 'I respect your pronoun.' In the response, it will agrees with what these people feel and will explain about the problems that certain gender is having. When people agrees or open to accept on what mailbox said, they can stick the sticker that is given onto the mailbox. So people can know how many supports that genders.

The last idea is experiencing the gender hate expression. There will be three boxes with a shape of face hole. People can put their head into the hole, then they will see all different gender hate expression with typography. After people experience the scene, they can do the survey on what they felt, what others will feel when they get those expressions. People can hang or stick those survey forms to let people know about how the gender hate expression can make people.

I will develop more on the second and the third idea to make it more interesting and fit to this pandemic situation.
